Saucy Pork Chops with Corn

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg (5pcs)
  • MONTEREY PORK CHOPS
  • 1/2 tsp
  • Iodized Fine Salt
  • 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper
  • 1/3 cup
  • MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1/2 cup
  • MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL PALM OLEIN
  • 1 pc
  • Onion, sliced
  • 6 cloves
  • Garlic, crushed
  • 1 pack (200g)
  • Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup
  • Water
  • 1 pc
  • Chicken Bouillon Cube
  • 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce
  • 1 can (425g)
  • Whole Corn Kernels

How to make it

Step 1

Rub pork with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour then fry in oil until brown.

Step 2

In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add tomato sauce, water, chicken cube and soy sauce. Simmer covered over low to medium heat for 20 minutes or until tender.

Step 3

Add corn kernels and simmer once.

Step 4

Tip: You can also substitute pork with MONTEREY CHICKEN BREAST as a healthier alternative.
