Pork Pata Adobado

Pork goodness that falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. This dish is the kind that requires unlimited rice!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg
  • MONTEREY PORK PATA SLICES
  • 3 tbsp
  • Garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pc
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup
  • Soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup
  • Cane vinegar
  • 2 cups
  • Water
  • 1 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup
  • White onions, chopped
  • 1 cup
  • Tomatoes, chopped

How to make it

Step 1

Combine first 8 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil.

Step 2

Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered for about 45 minutes.

Step 3

Remove cover and cook for another 5 minutes or until sauce is reduced and thickened. Separate sauce from meat and set aside.

Step 4

In another pan, sauté garlic, onions and tomatoes until tender. Add meat and cook for 5 minutes.
