Oriental Short Rib

For beef that falls off the bone and melts like butter in the mouth, try this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo
  • MONTEREY BEEF SHORT RIBS or KALDERETA CUT
  • 1/2 cup
  • Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup
  • Soy sauce
  • 2 cup
  • Water
  • 1/4 cup
  • Sesame oil
  • 2.5 tbsp
  • Brown sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds, toasted and crushed
  • 1 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp
  • Ginger, grated

How to make it

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Allow to boil and let simmer until meat becomes tender. Set aside when done.

Step 2

Continue cooking sauce until thickens. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Transfer cooked beef in a plate and drizzle sauce on top. Serve.
