Meatball Soup with Spinach and Crispy Garlic

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp
  • MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL
  • 2 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic
  • 4 cups
  • Water
  • 1 kg
  • MONTEREY SHANGHAI MIX
  • 8 cups
  • Spinach, washed and trimmed
  • 1 cup
  • Sliced leeks
  • 1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp
  • Iodized fine salt
  • 1 tsp
  • Pepper

How to make it

Step 1

Heat oil in a small frying pan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and golden. Set aside and cool.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a rolling boil. When boiling, add shanghai mix in generous pinches, by hand or by teaspoon, making free form meatballs. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Remove from heat and stir in spinach, leeks, fish sauce, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Transfer to a serving bowl then add crispy garlic and oil mixture over the soup.
