Pork Binagoongan

Ingredients

3 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Minced garlic
1 pc. Onion, chopped
1-480 gm pack MONTEREY LECHON KAWALI
¼ cup Alamang
2 tbsp. Vinegar
¼ cup Water
Ground black pepper and sugar to taste

Procedure

      Heat oil in a saucepan. Saute garlic and onions until softened. Add lechon kawali and saute until light brown in color. Add alamang, vinegar and water. Let simmer (do not stir) and cook until liquid is reduced. Season with pepper and sugar if desired. Continue to cook until mixture caramelizes.

Makes 4 servings.
