Monterey’s superior quality meats are available in more than 400 Monterey Meatshops nationwide – in supermarkets and in stand-alone Meatshops called Monterey Meatshop Plus.
Monterey Meatshop Plus exclusively sells a wide range of Monterey pork, beef and lamb products, Magnolia Chicken, Purefoods hotdogs, Magnolia Ice Cream and other selected San Miguel products. Add to its repertoire are non-San Miguel complementary products such as condiments, sauces, vegetables and seafood products which truly make the Monterey Meatshop Plus a one-stop shop for consumers’ cooking needs.

Aside from the basic pork and beef cuts, Monterey has ready to cook marinated beef and pork products called “Timplados”. These Timplados offer convenience and at the same time home-style goodness for the whole family.

Each Monterey Meatshop boasts of modern meat fabrication equipment and display showcase. It is manned by a crew of butchers and merchandisers trained in the Monterey Meatshop School to assure customers of courteous and efficient service.

Monterey pioneered the free delivery service in the market, going the extra mile to service its loyal and discriminating customers. 

Monterey also initiated the Monterey Meatshop Fresh Rewards – a loyalty program where members enjoy rebates and other exclusive perks.

Monterey  meats are processed following stringent quality standards at all stages of operation.  Right after slaughter, Monterey meats go through a rapid chilling process to prevent bacterial growth, thereby locking in the freshness and nutritional value of the meat products.

Because of Monterey’s strict adherence to the highest production standards, it was granted a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification. Monterey has also secured an ISO 9001:2000 certification, indicating the high quality standards followed in the slaughter, production and delivery of meat products as well as the sale of live hogs and cattle.

The Department of Agriculture granted numerous awards to Monterey for its quality standards that very few can live up to.

Monterey’s unwavering commitment to total quality extends from the farm to its nationwide distribution network.  Refrigerated trucks are used to deliver the meat products from the plant to Monterey Meatshops.

You can be sure then that the meat that bears the brand of Monterey went through the strictest processes and adheres to the highest quality standards, which most other companies simply cannot claim.
