Meatballs:
Combine meatball ingredients except cream cheese. Form into 1 ½ inch balls and stuff with cream cheese cubes in the center. Deep fry in oil. Set aside.
In a sauce pan, sauté onions, garlic and bell peppers in butter.. Add potatoes..Pour store bought mechado sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes or until potatoes are done, then dump in fried meatballs. Cook for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top just before serving.
Makes 3- 4 servings. |
