BEEF AND BACON CHILI


Ingredients

4 pcs Monterey Bacon
½ kilo Monterey Beef Cubes
½ cup onions, chopped
3 cups beef stock
2 cups diced tomato
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup kidney beans, soaked overnight
½ cup corn kernels
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp chili powder
½ cup Magnolia Cheddar Cheese, grated cilantro leaves, for topping.

 

 

Procedure

       In a medium sauce pot, sauté bacon and let it cook in its own fat. Add beef cubes and onions. Cook meat pieces until brown in color. Add beef stock and kidney beans. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn kernels, chili powder and sugar. Cook for another 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add cilantro. Top with grated cheese just before serving.
